About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Document Controller (Information Controller) to join a well-established interiors and refurbishment contractor delivering high-value, complex projects across the UK. This hybrid role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to work on prestigious refurbishments and fit-out projects within sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, education, retail, and commercial offices.


The Role

You'll play a key role in setting up and managing the Common Data Environment (CDE) across multiple projects, supporting the delivery of digital information management and ensuring teams collaborate effectively.

This role is ideal for a Document Controller or Information Management professional who is confident working with CDE platforms and is ready to support digital transformation across the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage project CDEs from tender stage through to project completion

  • Promote the use of digital tools and ensure best practices are followed across teams

  • Assist in the creation and coordination of Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDPs) and Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs)

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of BIM Execution Plans

  • Manage information workflows and document control processes

  • Provide guidance and support during project handover

  • Train and support teams in the use of task management and digital collaboration tools


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience with Aconex is essential

  • Experience using Dalux is desirable

  • Background in Document Control or Information Management within construction, interiors, or fit-out

  • Strong understanding of digital construction workflows and BIM processes

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills

  • Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
