About the Role
Job Title: Roofer
Location: Hastings
Salary: £38,000 per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card
Job Type: Permanent Position
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a well-established social housing contractor covering the Hastings area.
This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a skilled Roofer with experience carrying out repairs and maintenance works within occupied and void social housing properties. You will be joining an established maintenance team, carrying out a varied range of roofing repairs and associated works across residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out a variety of roofing repairs, maintenance and renewal works
- Working across both occupied and void social housing properties
- Completing associated works including guttering, fascia and soffit repairs, and basic carpentry tasks
- Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Updating job details and completing reports using a PDA system
- Providing a professional service while representing the company on-site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Roofer within social housing, housing maintenance or a similar property maintenance environment
- Experience working within occupied and void properties
- Strong knowledge of general roofing repairs and maintenance
- Comfortable using a PDA or handheld device to manage workloads and update jobs
- Full UK Driving Licence
