About the Role
Job Role: Plumber Multi Trader
Location: Covering London
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + Van & Fuel Card
Job Type: Permanent
I'm currently looking for an experienced Plumber Multi Trader to join a busy reactive maintenance team, covering properties across London.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled plumber who enjoys a varied role and is confident working independently in residential properties. You'll mainly be carrying out plumbing repairs, but there will also be opportunities to use your wider maintenance skills where needed.
You'll need to be comfortable working in occupied properties, dealing with a variety of repairs and speaking with residents in a professional and friendly manner.
The role:
- Carry out a range of domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair leaks, pipework, taps, toilets, sinks, baths and showers.
- Carry out repairs to radiators and other plumbing fixtures.
- Complete plumbing installations and general maintenance works.
- Attend reactive jobs and work efficiently to resolve issues.
- Fault find and identify the cause of plumbing problems.
- Complete minor multi-trade works where required, such as basic carpentry, tiling, patch plastering and painting.
- Work within occupied properties while maintaining a professional and respectful approach.
- Keep job records and updates accurate using a PDA system.
- Follow relevant health and safety procedures and company standards.
About you:
- Previous experience working as a Plumber or Plumber Multi Trader.
- Strong domestic plumbing skills and confidence working independently.
- Experience within reactive maintenance or property maintenance would be beneficial.
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing would be desirable.
- Additional multi-trade skills are a bonus, particularly basic carpentry, tiling, plastering or decorating.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable managing your own workload and attending multiple jobs.
- Professional and approachable manner when working in customers' homes.
- Comfortable using a PDA or basic IT systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
