Multi Skilled Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join a busy property maintenance team working across Newcastle.

This is a temporary opportunity for an initial period of 16 weeks, ideal for someone with a strong background in building maintenance and property repairs.

The Role

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of building maintenance and repair works, ensuring all jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out general building maintenance and property repairs

• Completing a range of multi-trade maintenance tasks

• Diagnosing issues and carrying out appropriate remedial works

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standard

• Managing your own workload and completing jobs within the required timescales

• Maintaining a professional approach when carrying out works

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a Multi Skilled Engineer or Building Maintenance Operative role.

To be considered, you must have:

• Previous experience in building maintenance or property repairs

• An NVQ Level 2 in Building Maintenance Operations, or an equivalent qualification

• Your own van and tools

• Good practical knowledge across multiple trades

• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• A professional approach and pride in the quality of your work

A CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card is desirable.
