About the Role

Job role: Multi Trader
Location: South Essex - Southend-on-Sea
Salary: £36,000 + benefits

We're looking for an experienced Multi Trader to join our planned works team, helping maintain and improve social housing properties to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance across multiple trades - plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building work.

  • Responding to service requests quickly and professionally.

  • Ensuring all work meets quality standards and complies with regulations.

  • Collaborating with colleagues and contractors to deliver projects on time.

  • Providing excellent service to residents, handling queries in a professional and respectful way.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven multi-trade experience in social housing or a similar environment.

  • Strong knowledge of health & safety practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Comfortable with IT, including PDA systems (SOR code knowledge a plus).

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Skilled in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, managing your workload effectively.

  • Must be prepared for a drug & alcohol test on the first day.
