About the Role
Surveyor / Inspector / Quality Assurance - Passive Fire Protection
Covering London, home counties with occasional travel to the Midlands
6 month FTC (with potential to go permanent)
£35,000 - £40,000 + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card
Our client is a well-established fire door manufacturer and installer, specialising in passive fire protection solutions. They provide a comprehensive range of third-party accredited surveys, installations, and compliance services to both public and private sector organisations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Review fire door inspection reports for technical accuracy in line with BS 8214 and BM Trada ART standards.
- Assess fire stopping reports for compliance with manufacturers' tested details.
- Carry out ad hoc site visits to verify the accuracy of inspection reports.
- Conduct on-site Quality Assurance checks on fire door and fire stopping surveys.
- Provide constructive feedback on report accuracy, highlighting patterns of poor reporting for improvement.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in Fire Door and Compartmentation (Installation, Supervision, or Surveying).
- A recognised Fire Door-related qualification (e.g. BM Trada, FDIS, or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office Suite and digital devices (Tablet/PDA).
