About the Role

Data & Quality Analyst - 9 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location:
Home based with occasional national travel and stay over as required
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Salary
: £46K (Pro Rata)

Do you enjoy working across systems, solving data issues, and turning numbers into actionable insight? We're working with a leading national contractor in the housing sector to recruit a Data & Quality Analyst to play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of operational data across various service areas.

Reporting to the Data Performance & Quality Lead, this is a hands-on role that focuses on data audits, integration support, system validation, and reporting enhancements. You'll work closely with IT, frontline teams, and product managers to help shape smarter, data-informed decision-making.

Data & Quality Analyst Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular data validation checks and audits
  • Identify inconsistencies and root causes in operational systems
  • Support mobilisation readiness with pre-launch data validation
  • Collaborate with operational teams to improve data input accuracy
  • Assist in monitoring and resolving system integration issues
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, etc.)
  • Automate data cleansing and exception reporting tasks
  • Provide insights that help boost service performance
  • Maintain documentation for audits and governance processes

Data & Quality Analyst Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: Background in data, QA, reporting, or systems analysis
  • Tools: Strong Excel and/or Power BI skills
  • Knowledge: Data governance, system interfaces, operational reporting
  • Sector (Bonus): Familiarity with housing, maintenance, or mobilisation projects
  • Skills: Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative
  • Communication: Able to explain data issues to non-technical stakeholders
