About the Role
Role: Roofer

Salary: £38,000 per year + van and fuel card
We are currently looking for an experienced Roofer to join a busy property maintenance team working within social housing.
This is a permanent opportunity carrying out responsive roofing repairs and maintenance to residential properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The Role
As a Roofer, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of roofing repairs and maintenance works, helping to maintain properties and provide a reliable service to residents.
Duties will include:
Carrying out general roofing repairs and maintenance
Repairing and replacing roof tiles and slates
Identifying and resolving roof leaks
Carrying out repairs to flat and pitched roofs
Inspecting roofs and diagnosing roofing issues
Completing guttering, flashing and leadwork repairs where required
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Following health and safety procedures when working at height
Providing a professional and friendly service to residents
About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience working as a Roofer, ideally within social housing or property maintenance.
You should have:
Proven experience carrying out roofing repairs and maintenance
Good practical knowledge of roofing materials and techniques
Experience working on both pitched and flat roofs
A good understanding of health and safety when working at height
Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
Good communication skills and a professional approach
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
A full UK driving licence
