Managing Quantity Surveyor
£85K - £95K + Benefits

We are working with a leading Social Housing Regeneration Contractor to recruit an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. Based their Hatfield head office, you'll oversee the commercial performance of a major project or portfolio of projects across London and the South East.
Projects are a mix of high-profile refurbishment, regeneration and new-build projects across the South East.
This is a senior role where you'll take responsibility for maximising profitability, managing commercial and contractual risk, ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing strong commercial leadership across the business.
Managing Quantity Surveyor
- Lead the commercial management of a major project or portfolio of projects
- Maximise profitability and manage commercial and contractual risk
- Ensure accurate forecasting and financial reporting
- Support the Regional Board in identifying and mitigating commercial risks
- Manage key contractual matters, including JCT, NEC and PPC contracts
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams
- Promote high standards of commercial performance and SHEQ compliance
Managing Quantity Surveyor Experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
- Significant experience in a senior Quantity Surveying role
- Strong main contractor commercial experience
- Experience with JCT, NEC and/or PPC contracts
- Excellent commercial, numerical, negotiation and communication skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Full UK driving licence
