About the Role
Senior Project Manager
Essex
£80-£100k plus package
We are working with a leading Contractor to recruit a Senior Project Manager, to join their team leading on a High Rise Building refurbishment within a town centre location.
The project involves a full internal and external refurbishment of the 19 story building, including both residential and commercial spaces, and associated structural works.
We are expecting this project to be ongoing for 2.5 years, with additional projects secured for the successful candidate to move onto following. The mobilisation and programming of this scheme is paramount, and we are looking for candidates who have experience mobilising similar complex project. This project is part of a long term partnership, and therefore client engagement is key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the entire project from start to finish, ensuring that all aspects are completed to the highest standard in a safe manner
- Managing a team of professionals and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient progress
- Liaising with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery
- Monitoring and controlling project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure profitability and efficiency
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within the construction industry, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Strong understanding of construction processes, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to problem-solve and make critical decisions under pressure
- Relevant qualifications in construction management
